Hey everyone
I came up with a pretty wild idea yesterday:
I’m 16, and I’ve set myself the challenge of making £100k in 2 years before I start university.
Why?
- I want to pay my own way through uni and live debt-free.
- I want to actually enjoy the uni experience without money stress.
- And I love building stuff - websites, apps, and SaaS - so this is the best way I can think of to do it.
How I’ll try to get there
- Building websites & apps for clients
- Shipping small SaaS / indie projects
- Sharing my progress publicly
Follow Along
I’ll be posting updates on:
- Twitter (X): VulcanWM
- Newsletter: 100k-before-uni.beehiiv.com
I don’t know if I’ll make it, but I’ll share the whole journey: wins, fails, and lessons along the way.
Would love to hear from others who’ve tried similar challenges or started young!

I too started with the hope of making money ! Now I'm here, no clients, but still have all the skills. The problem is can't market my skills to the world. I too started a Insta acc for content creation.
That’s a solid mindset, man. I started freelancing around your age doing small web projects for local businesses, and even just a couple clients gave me way more confidence (and cash) than I expected. Biggest tip: don’t get stuck perfecting side projects nobody uses, chase paying clients first, then use that cash to fund your SaaS ideas. The momentum makes a huge difference.
This is an awesome challenge! love your focus and drive! Excited to see what you build and how you grow your skills. Keep sharing your progress!
it's so good
Good luck!
Really inspiring! At 16, setting such ambitious goals is impressive. Excited to see your progress and learn from your journey. Keep it up!
why don't you start an insta account
