Every public contract above the EU thresholds has to be published on TED (Tenders Electronic Daily), the EU's official procurement journal. That's thousands of notices a week from more than 30 countries, in two dozen languages. If you sell IT, consulting, construction or almost anything else to the public sector, your next contract is probably in there.
TED's own search works, but it's built for one-off lookups, not for a daily list of only the tenders you can still bid on. Here's how to set that up in a few minutes.
What you'll get
One row per notice: an English headline (country, category and the original title), buyer, buyer country, CPV categories, notice type (open call, award or prior notice), publication date, bid deadline, estimated value and currency, and links to the notice and its documents.
Step 1: Open the tool
Go to EU Tenders Scraper (TED) on the Apify Store and click Try for free. You'll need a free Apify account. The tool uses TED's official search API, so there are no logins or blocked pages.
Step 2: Pick your market
This input asks for IT tenders from German and French buyers that are still open for bids:
{
"cpvCodes": ["72000000"],
"countries": ["DE", "FR"],
"noticeTypes": ["contract"],
"onlyOpenForBids": true
}
72000000 is the CPV code for IT services, and it includes every sub-category. Use keywords for anything CPV codes don't capture well, in any language, and minEstimatedValue to skip small contracts.
Step 3: Run it and download
Click Start, then download the results as CSV, Excel or JSON.
When I ran this on October 5, 2026, it found 101 open IT tenders from German and French buyers. Here's one:
{
"publishedAt": "2026-10-05",
"noticeKind": "contract",
"headline": "Germany – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – Vertragsschließung über die Weiterentwicklung und den Support des IAM / Identity IQ Tools",
"buyerName": "Hamburger Stadtentwässerung AöR",
"buyerCountry": "DEU",
"tenderDeadline": "2026-11-05T10:00:00+01:00",
"url": "https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/-/detail/685361-2026"
}
Step 4: Get new tenders every morning
{
"keywords": ["cybersecurity", "penetration testing"],
"countries": ["NL", "BE", "LU"],
"publishedWithinDays": 3,
"onlyNewNotices": true,
"monitoringList": "benelux-security"
}
Schedule it daily. Each run returns only notices you haven't received yet. Send them to Slack, email or a spreadsheet with Apify's integrations.
What it costs
$3.50 per 1,000 notices, with no monthly fee, and a daily feed charges only for that day's new notices.
Good to know
Set noticeTypes to award to see who won past contracts and for how much, which is useful for pricing your bids and sizing competitors. Use prior to see tenders months before they open.
