Get every new UK company in your industry each morning

Every UK company has to register at Companies House, and the register is public. That makes it one of the best free sources of fresh B2B leads: a new software firm, restaurant or construction company shows up within a day or two of incorporating, along with its industry code and registered address.

The catch is getting the data out. The Companies House website shows one company at a time, and the official API needs a key, rate limiting and code to page through results. Here's how to get a clean list in a couple of minutes instead.

What you'll get

One row per company: name, company number, status, type, incorporation date, industry (SIC codes with plain-English descriptions) and registered office address. You can optionally add accounts and confirmation-statement due dates, charges, insolvency history and previous names.

Step 1: Open the tool

Go to UK Companies House Scraper on the Apify Store and click Try for free. You'll need a free Apify account. You don't need a Companies House API key.

Step 2: Say what you're looking for

This input asks for new software companies incorporated in the last 7 days:

62 is a SIC prefix that covers all software and IT consultancy codes. Add "location": "Manchester" to narrow it to one town, or use 56101 for restaurants, 41 for construction, and so on.

Step 3: Run it and download

Click Start. Results appear in a table you can download as CSV, Excel or JSON.

When I ran this on October 5, 2026, it matched 1,705 new software and IT companies from the previous 7 days. Here's one record (the full record also has the registered office address and status details):

Step 4: Make it a daily feed

Add two fields and schedule the run every morning:

With onlyNewCompanies on, each run returns only companies you haven't received before. Hook the schedule up to Google Sheets, Slack or your CRM with Apify's integrations.

What it costs

$1.40 per 1,000 companies, with no monthly fee. Apify's free plan includes some monthly usage credit, which covers a lot of test runs.

Good to know

The register has no emails, phone numbers or websites. You get the company and its registered address, and enrichment is up to you. The tool returns company data only, not directors or other people.
