Hi everyone! π
As developers, starting a new project or creating boilerplate code and file structures from scratch can be repetitive and time-consuming. I wanted a way to generate full project files and structures locally on my machine in seconds using AI directly from my terminal.
Since I couldn't find a simple CLI tool that did exactly this, I decided to build my own: VibeForge!
π₯ What is VibeForge?
VibeForge is a fast and lightweight CLI tool built in JavaScript.
By simply plugging in your Gemini API Key, VibeForge takes your prompt and automatically generates all the necessary project files, code, and folder structures directly on your local machine!
β¨ Key Features
- π€ Powered by Gemini AI: Uses Google Gemini API to generate accurate code and file structures.
- π Automated File Creation: Automatically creates folders and writes files directly to your local machine.
- β‘ Fast & Lightweight: Built with JavaScript/Node.js for quick terminal execution.
- π οΈ Simple Setup: Just add your Gemini API Key and start building immediately.
- π 100% Open Source: Built for the developer community.
π How It Works
- Install and run VibeForge from your terminal.
- Provide your Gemini API Key.
- Prompt VibeForge with what you want to build (e.g., "Create a Next.js app with Tailwind and authentication").
- Watch VibeForge generate the files and code structure instantly on your disk!

π Support & Feedback
Since VibeForge is completely open-source, I would love to hear your feedback, ideas, or bug reports!
If you like the idea or find it useful, giving it a β Star on GitHub would mean a lot to me and helps other developers discover it!
