I am thinking of developing a note taking app and so I thought of asking for feature opinions. Feel free to put down your ideas.

I personally really like Notion for note-taking purposes. I love that you can set up checklists in it, so that when you check a box it crosses out an item. You also have calendar functionality which could come in handy.
Granted, to @ben's point, I also like simplicity and so typically keep a piece of paper and pen nearby for my day-to-day note-taking and list-making.
Simplicity
At the end of the day bloat is usually what drives me back to basic apps.
This, I want a note taking app that feels like paper, but digital.
I have either something super simple like Google Keep. Or go full mental with something like Joplin.

So pic your poison. I would stick to something like Google Keep. That's a good starting point. If you're not satisfied with what you have. Add some new features 😉
Ease of accessibility. Some apps are really hard to get to the point that you can take notes. Local first is imperative for speed of loading and making it easy to access. Also, for me, neovim keymap is preferred!
I've created a note app and todo list
ztools is simply and using Localstorage to store notes or todolist
It's simple and easy to use. Great app
Ohh thankful :)
Does it support markdown ? Can it export or import markdown files ? if yes to both, then it's enough for me.
As it is, I'm either using Nextcloud notes app or github (yes I was on of these guys who took class notes in a github repo, and i keep doing it sometimes)
I love the features of ColorNote in Android, especially that you can make notes that ALWAYS stay in your notification bar, so you always know what's coming up, not only when a reminder comes :)
Auto Word Suggestion feature is a great feature for Notes Taking App, it would be welcomed by most of the users of your app
