We built 5MinutesAPI out of frustration. Legacy WhatsApp providers were charging developers a massive "hidden tax" through per-message markups, and their legacy backends choked during high-volume broadcasts. We wanted a raw, high-speed pipe directly to Meta. So, we engineered a high-concurrency Golang gateway that processes 100M+ requests with sub-15ms latency. No bloat, no markups, just a clean REST API and real-time webhooks for developers who want full control.
Our stack
Backend: Golang (Go) for high-concurrency routing, micro-second auto-refunds, and massive webhook ingestion. Frontend: Next.js 14 (App Router), React, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, and Lenis smooth scrolling. Infrastructure: Cloudflare.
