Most people go through life without ever clearly understanding what they’re naturally good at.
They choose careers based on:
- expectations
- salary pressure
- limited exposure
- or simple trial and error
The result is often years spent in paths that don’t fully match their strengths.
What’s interesting is that traditional personality or career tests try to solve this, but they are usually static. You answer questions once, get a report, and that’s it.
But people are not static.
Our interests, skills, and thinking patterns evolve over time.
This is where AI becomes interesting.
Instead of a one-time test, AI can potentially:
- ask adaptive questions
- detect patterns in responses
- refine understanding over time
- provide personalized insights continuously
This idea is what led me to start building PotenAI, an AI-powered self-discovery platform focused on helping people understand their strengths, career fit, and long-term potential.
We’re still early in development, but the direction feels promising.
