Starting up the new year, we return DigitalOcean and CloudBees, and welcome back Twilio as a Gold Sponsor. Thank you to each of these companies for being a valuable DEV Community partner and supporter.
Please take a few minutes to explore their offerings and consider them for your company or next project.
DigitalOcean is a much-loved cloud computing platform. I'm always impressed by how well-built and well-documented the DigitalOcean core products are. It's easier said than done, and they've been able to stay ahead of the curve.
DigitalOcean has been our longest-running supporter to date, and we're extremely thankful for their consistent support. Their commitment to the developer ecosystem is crystal clear.
As an organization, it's awesome to see the evolution of their service and their remarkable ability to stay top of the game for years now.
CloudBees Rollout is a powerful code release toolset that brings feature flags, analytics, and testing to the process. Reduce risk by decoupling feature deployment from code releases. CloudBees as a whole provides solutions for CI, CD, and application release orchestration (ARO). They are the largest contributor to Jenkins, the very popular open-source automation server. Cloudbees is truly a company that lives devOps and CI/CD to its core with its entire offering.
Twilio has been a great friend of ours since early in the dev.to days. We are users of their APIs, and folks from our team are always excited to get involved in their community initiatives. It's great to have them as a sponsor!
I can personally say that we chose Twilio Video because it made really great use of native peer-to-peer browser technology while also offering Twilio's infrastructure for necessary use cases wrapped in the same API. The docs and examples were well-organized and getting up and running was a synch.
We'd also like to extend thanks to this month's Bronze Sponsors. We are delighted to have the support of WorksHub and Unicorn.
If your company is interested in supporting the DEV Community with a self-serve sponsorship, please check out this page or reach out to email@example.com.
These organizations are helping us build the best community we can. I urge you to check out their offerings if you are in the market for their services.
Happy coding ❤️

I share the joy and am equally thankful to DEV and to Sponsors :)
However I just feel uneasy that the "post of praise" includes pointing to "grades" of sponsors.
We understand that some can (or prefer to) donate more, some less, but if we regard it as
a kind of "good will" on their part, and even if technically grade system
for sponsors exists, it is a bit awkward to say we thank these guys VERY MUCH and those others SLIGHTLY LESS :)
This just slightly mars the magnificence of the moment :)
Please, it is not intended to cast any shadow... I just tried to express the feeling that I would be glad reading it even without knowing who is gold... As certain wise man said on charity "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing" :)
You may wanna migrate from Heroku -> DigitalOcean since they are such a loyal sponsor :)
Heroku has also been pretty good to us in this way 😄
But yeah, DO has been fab.
Congratulations to whole team 🎉🥳
