Yeah, I built a wifi modem with the CHIP computer and use the SE/30 as a terminal. Since I work from the command line for a lot of my day, I can use any machine if it has a decent terminal emulator. ZTerm works very well.
Here's mine. I recently added the laptop stand and quickly realized I needed a monitor stand too. I decided to build one out of Legos. I'm pretty happy with it, plus now I always have things to play with during meetings.
Desk from Autonomous.AI (which still sounds like an ML startup not a furniture store)
Swing arms and Laptop stand from Monoprice
Logitech screen
Tertial swing-arm light (left) from Ikea
Swing-arm light/magnifying glass (right)
Swing-arm smartphone stand built from broken light/magnifying glass
Diet Coke
Think I should show my old workplace and the "standing desk" I used to have.
Left was Linux, right was Windows, and I used Synergy so I just had one keyboard, and an IOGear KVM switch for when I needed to Admin the Windows, but my Logitech Unifying keyboard didn't work well with the KVM, so I modified a Staples "Easy" button with an Arduino-like Teensy that acted as a Human Interface Device and wrote code to send two scroll locks when needed.
And that is an empty toilet paper box holding up the keyboard. Just the right height, but I like my new one better.
It is yip. It took me a while to get used to the way it's split above but now I can't go back. That setup has helped with some back and shoulder issues I had for a while too, I don't lean or move off the keyboard as much anymore. I used to always lean left into the keyboard π
The layers really help too for a lot of things. For certain symbols, no more awkward hand positions. e.g. I hold the thumb key next to right alt and press "d" now for "&", leave go of the thumb key and its back to normal. I have a few persistent layers setup also, like changing "wasd" to be arrow keys and adding a numpad to the right split.
Staying at my girfriends house for awhile since I have a nurse roomate working with infected COVID patients at my place and I have to help out my elderly parents each week. In the meantime I am making the best of my lady's dinning table ;)
This is my desk, but I would say I am still mobile with the setup.

So many Macs...
My 8 weeks of WFH
You actually use that Mac for more than decoration?

I LOVE IT!
Also, +1 for Brave browser. :)
Apparently I like colors π€·ββοΈ
I just had to ask. What's the theme you're using?π
Oh it's Synthwave '84.
At first I installed it for fun, but it really grew on me.π€
Oh. Nice. Thank you very much
Pleasant
Need to sell guitars to get some extra monitors π

Just got this great laptop stand.

let's make it a great Wednesday
It's like an extended dark mode.
I miss my standing desk and my big monitor.
Awesome keyboard/keyboards. Can you share a link for it? Thanks
I've actually made detailed reviews about both of those keyboards!

Wow, what a space!
I love your monitor set up

Yes, just the notebook. At some point I need to buy a new external monitor, though. π€
Edit: And I apparently have got a new angle. Stupid camera phone.
MBP, Prism+ 29" wide angle monitor, Keychron k4 mechanical keyboard

Absolute cave mode

Looks cozy :)

I find it hard to leave this desk everyday!

Is that a Dygma Raise keyboard? I want one of those so bad. What is your experience with it?

Overall it's amazing. Haven't hit any issues yet.
What a fun idea!
I actually use my boyfriend's old iMac as a monitor π
Here's mine. It's essentially my setup from the office just moved to home.
All on a VariDesk for when I feel standing (conference calls mostly)
Mine is kinda lame π¦π¦
It's doesn't matter. Mine is just a laptop.
Same situation here.
#LIMO (Laptop Is My Office) lol
Wow
Fun topic! Here's my perspective:

Staying at my girfriends house for awhile since I have a nurse roomate working with infected COVID patients at my place and I have to help out my elderly parents each week. In the meantime I am making the best of my lady's dinning table ;)
My hybrid Mac/PC/PS4 setup, I can work and play anytime
This is my desk, but I would say I am still mobile with the setup.

I need to get a better chair
Just a laptop. And a new perspective, perhaps.lol

We're in the middle of selling our house, so lucky for me my office is super clean at the moment!
It's a Keychron k6 65%. MBP15 2018. Samsung 27 4k. BlueYeti Mic. A bunch of other stuff

I feel lucky to fit a 5 foot wide desk and 32 inch monitor. :)
