We all have that one folder.
500+ screenshots. OTPs mixed with
payment receipts. WhatsApp chats
buried under memes. That one
important document — gone forever.
I got frustrated enough to build
something.
The problem with existing apps
Every screenshot organizer I found
had the same issue — cloud upload.
Your OTPs. Your bank receipts. Your
private chats. On someone else's
server. Hard pass.
So I built OrganizeShots
100% browser-based. Nothing leaves
your device. Ever.
Here's what it does:
✅ Drag & drop up to 100 screenshots
✅ OCR reads text INSIDE each screenshot
✅ Auto-sorts into 10 smart folders:
OTP • Payments • WhatsApp • Social
Media • Documents • and more
✅ Detects duplicates automatically
✅ Download everything as ZIP
✅ Zero upload • Zero account • Zero cost
Your browser does all the processing.
No server. No database. No tracking.
Just drag, sort, download. Done.

This sounds cool and easily buildable for much bigger datasets (not limited by browser memory limitatons). Are you doing perceptual hashes to detect duplicates? I have had this problem for awhile and never seemed to find a good solution.
Hey Asen! Thanks for the kind words
Yes! Using perceptual hashing for
duplicate detection — compares visual
similarity not just file names
And you're right about browser memory
limits — currently supports 100
screenshots. Bigger datasets are on
the roadmap!
Would love your feedback if you try it
