May is mental health month (and honestly, if you're me, every month has to be mental health month... but I digress.)
To practice javascript more, I decided to make an app for something that I do every morning. For the past three years or so, one of the first things I do in the morning is share three good things in my life with a friend. It can be something as big as getting a promotion or something as "small" as coffee.
Three Good Things Web App
It's hosted on Glitch, so if you want to remix it into your own project, I'd love to see it!
There are apparently already apps that do this, but it was a really great exercise in learning about local storage!
I'm already working with a friend on another app for anxiety, and I'd love to see any you've made or something that works for you!

Look, my chair is expensive okay, It's a good chair!
Nice use of 'things' in all your variables and functions, haha
a good chair is worth its weight!
haha i'm still learning - I felt like if i kept it all the same, things were less likely to go south 😬
I LOVE this. Can you share anything about your next anxiety app yet?
Sure! The purpose is going to be something very simple with the goal of getting you out of a thought/fixation loop. It will coach you to either take action on the thing you're worrying about, or if you can't take an action, help you let go of the worry and change your focus! If you're interested, I'm happy to send you a sneak of the wireframe!
I’m super interested! Send a Twitter DM?
sure! I just followed you!
Nice app...good to have it working without an account
Great work @desi . Gratitude journaling has its roots in mindfulness/Buddhism, which I’m obviously passionate about (see my handle). Thank you so much for spreading the word about staying rooted in the wonderfulness that is “now.”
I gave your article a retweet since I like this so much. :)
