I used to be a '50 tabs open' person, and it was killing my computer's RAM. I finally built a 1-click system to dump them all into Notion so I could close my browser.
What about you? Are you a tab hoarder or a strict 'one tab at a time' user? What's your current tab count right now?"

Better question is how many browsers I have open ๐ 3... And about 5 tabs each.
Reply simple:
Haha 3 browsers is impressive ๐ I guess everyone has their own way of creating chaos. 5 tabs each doesnโt sound too bad though. ๐
1 edge, 1 chrome (cross-referencing for UI design, 1 full-screen, 1 windowed), then 1 more chrome for general browsing. Work browsers has multiple tabs open in the app, to test features at once too, especially when dealing with print to pdfs, then it bloats to 10-15 each
Haha thatโs a serious tab setup ๐ When tabs are part of your work itโs harder to just close them. How do you usually keep track of the important ones?
just first tab on each, then any related open as 2nd+
Thatโs actually a smart way to keep context. Having a main tab as the anchor and related tabs around it probably makes it much easier to switch between tasks without losing the thread.
Yip and groups help declutter too when I start dealing with PDFs, that way they're sectioned from any other tabs and just keeps it more organized.
Thatโs actually a good way to manage it. Tab groups help when you already know the category, especially for work like PDFs and research. The tricky part is usually remembering which group had that one useful thing later ๐
