React is a library not the framework. Nextjs is a framework works on top of the react library.
yea, you are totally right, i mentioned it here because it's #1 competitor for angular.
React doesn't directly compete with angular. Angular is batteries included framework. It has literally everything bundled in that you may or may not use.
React is just a rendering library. Something you use to simply "print"stuff on your screen. You still have to either buy those batteries or build them on your own.
i'm not comparing between angular and react , but the truth is some people preferer to use react instead of angular for whatever reason, in this scenario we can consider react a competitor of angular
Imho, its generally a bad practice to pitch react as a framework to general audience as it creates ambiguity in the minds of a relatively new js developer. A framework is much much more than a little library that’s designed to do only one thing. And many juniors think the scope of frameworks is almost as big as that of react. This causes serious onboarding issues to real frameworks when eventually the do have to leave the nest.
We should be clear and concise in content thrown at general populous. That includes absolutely zero ambiguity even if explaining it gets harder that way.
