Building Octograf — Capture relationship context before it fades.

The Problem

Professionals maintain hundreds of valuable relationships but lose critical context—who they are, how you met, what you discussed, what you promised to do. LinkedIn is a vanity feed, CRMs demand manual data entry you'll never fill out, and your phone contacts are just names. By the time you remember you need to follow up, the context is already gone.

What I'm Thinking of Building

Octograf captures relationship moments in 10 seconds via voice. Speak naturally as you walk out of a meeting or sit in an Uber—"Met Sarah at YC dinner, runs growth at Notion, sharp on onboarding loops, sending her that article." AI instantly extracts structure (name, company, how you met, topics, actions) and schedules reminders. No fields to fill. No friction. Just context preserved at the moment it matters.

Who It's For

Founders, VCs, consultants, business development professionals, and senior executives at mid-market and growth-stage companies who actively network and manage relationships as a core job function.

Key Features (Planned)

  • Voice-first capture: tap, speak, AI does the rest
  • Automatic extraction: names, companies, context, discussion topics, action items
  • Smart reminders: scheduled follow-ups based on what you said
  • Calendar sync: see relationship notes next to meetings
  • CRM & LinkedIn integration: connect your existing tools

I'm validating this idea before writing a single line of code. If this resonates with you, I'd love your feedback:

If you could capture relationship context in 10 seconds of voice and never lose track of who someone is or what you discussed—no forms, no CRM busywork—would you use it? What's the biggest reason you currently lose track of relationships?

Check out the concept page and let me know what you think.
