Hi everyone! I recently launched conferCal, a conference calendar for developers and other people in tech.
With filters for topics, dates, price and location, I wanted to make it easier to find creative or tech conferences you want to attend, speak, exhibit etc.
Why
The idea for conferCal came about because I was just too lazy to scour every list on the internet for conferences related to design, code or entrepreneurship. It was also annoying to find cool conferences and then 3 clicks later, figure out that it was too expensive, from a location or price standpoint, to attend.
Plan
My first goal with conferCal is to become a single resource, for those mainly in tech (from designers to developers to marketers to entrepreneurs) to find conferences. Eventually, if the demand is there, it would be awesome to expand to other creative fields. But I’m taking it one step at a time.

Is it possible that the filter values persist even if the category is changed?
Steps:
Right now it resets the filter values but realistically I'm looking for the same type of conference across those categories.

Any chance we could get a category for "SRE / DevOps" or something similar? There are some great conferences like Monitorama (monitorama.com/) and SRECon (usenix.org/conference/srecon18amer...) which don't appear to have a good category in the current list.

Oh cool! Small piece of feedback: it wasn't obvious to me that the "topics" menu was scrollable. When I expanded it, I didn't see DevOps because it was outside the scroll area.

If possible, I would love to see Taiwan not listed as a region of China. It's a controversial topic but something I'm really passionate about bringing awareness to.

This is very cool. Keep up the great work. As someone who runs a ton of online events, it would be cool if you supported online conferences. Right now it looks like you have to choose a location.
Thank you! "Online" is available as an option actually! If adding a conference, you just pick "Online" from the country list and write "Online" for the city.
Oh. Interesting. That is great (though perhaps not very obvious). I tried it out and one weird thing was that it did still seem to require a city even though it was now specified as online.

Very nice product! It was hard for me to find conferences, I used to miss them happening just because I didn't know they were happening.
P.S. I tried to subscribe, but I think it didn't work. Clicking on "subscribe" button after filling all the fields does nothing. Used the site from the smartphone. Would be happy to get emails once it's fixed:)

Hey, this is really cool, and I'm going to use it furthermore. One thing that I was missing was the possibility to filter not by country but by continent. E.g. being German, I'd be willing to travel to most European countries, but probably not across the pond. :)
