Open Source is about the community. Whether you have a project or you're looking to make your first PR, we want to help facilitate those connections.
Tell us about your project
Promote your project by providing a link to the repo. Everyone who posted in previous weeks is welcome back this week, as always π
Open Source should be a welcoming space for contributors. The README is the front door of your project. If you'd like to check out an example of a README, here's our OpenSauced/insights README.
If you submit please have the following in your repo to make it welcoming and helpful for contributors:
- README.md
- CONTRIBUTING.md
Feel free to drop your issues and repos in the OpenSauced Discord #π-looking-for-contributors channel at any time!
If you're new to open source, and you're not sure where to start, check out our Intro to Open Source course.
Finally, consider reading the Best Practices for Maintainers.
Just a note to say, we've restarted this post from something Ben was doing for a while :star-struck:
Happy coding!

Hey all ππ»
I just started the journey on writing an open-source headless CMS using only Javascript!
Here's a detailed post of how I'll proceed: stormkit.io/blog/writing-a-headles...
Hop on and follow the journey if you're interested ππ»
I will like to be part of this @svedova
Sweet! I'm working in parallel with the Mailer: github.com/stormkit-io/mailer. It's also an open-source service.
We have a Discord channel: discord.com/invite/6yQWhyY. Feel free to join and look for the
#mailer
channel. We can do the same for the open source headless CMS.Hello, everyone π.
π» I have been working on since last year. A very lightweight javascript framework (NixixJS). And it's not just another javascript framework. It was made for the reason of understanding how most of other frameworks work under the hood. I have learnt a whole lot from working on this project - design patterns, rendering patterns, ssr, csr, and what really makes up the internet.
Long story short, I am the only contributor to this project and would love to work with other awesome developers out there on this together.
The link to the github repo - NixixJS.
I am looking forward to those pull requests. Thank you π
I recently made a side project open source. It is a Web3 resource library built with Reactjs.
If you have any idea or feedback, open an issue on the repository.
You can send me a DM on Twitter or LinkedIn
Do you love writing GitHub Actions workflow in YAML and waste one hour because you missed one space?
Neither do I so I contribute to this library that allows to write the workflow in a typesafe programming language, Kotlin

But there is a very small part of front-end that needs to be done and I'm super bad at it

I have a very old project called Hotspotd, it's a Linux program (daemon) to create Wifi hotspots on Linux PCs and Laptops. I had written this in Python about 7-8 years ago when I was very obsessed with Linux!
I no longer maintain or work on this project but people keep raising issues. If someone is interested in Linux/Python or want to contribute, they're welcome!
Along similar lines is tuxdrive. A command line program to access and control your Google Drive from the terminal using commands, again written in Python and built for Linux but works on any OS. Feel free to explore the source code and/or send contributions.
Hi all,
I's been almost 10 years I started an IoT nodejs platform named 't6'. It includes a mobile app and the Api to collect and displays data measured.
I have released t6 on gitHub about 8 years ago and I'm still maintaining + adding new features to it - currently working on machine learning features integrated into iot data.
I'm alone building the whole product: conception, "development", product management and so on. This post could be a great opportunity to get onboard some interested ppl.
The repo is available on github github.com/mathcoll/t6
Hi! This looks really cool! Where can I contact you to learn more?
Hi @dannyk08 , you can contact me via the github repository github.com/mathcoll/t6 or github profile page github.com/mathcoll.
Nice initiative. However, a good static site can be a nice addition to it. I've just created an issue on this. Make sure to check that out!
