Hack the JavaScript
I try to hack JavaScript because I'm waiting to long for a pipeline operator pass the proposal state and will be standard language element.
action plan
- Wait 6 years .....
- Select a most simple pipeline operator with only 1 parameter according KISS
- Fork TypeScript latest version
- Implement |> pipeline operator
- Validate a result by TDD
- Create npm module to easy further test and try in any TS/JS project
-
Document the process in here
Create a playground eneable any one to test it without installation

Document the playground, call: Terminal is your Friend on dev.to

Love the "wait 6 years" → "fork TypeScript" energy 😄 Picking the single-parameter, KISS version of |> was a smart call — it sidesteps most of the topic-token debate that's kept the proposal stuck. The no-install playground is a great touch too; lowering the barrier to try it is exactly how proposals gain real-world feedback. Curious: how painful was getting the TSX parsing to play nicely with |>? Going to give the fork a spin this week.
