To offset text either upward or downward you can use the tags <sup> and <sub>.

To create superscript:

<sup>superscript here</sup>
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

To create subscript:

<sub>subscript here</sub>
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode
