I'm joining the DEV team

Hi everyone, you've probably seen my name popping up around the website or the GitHub repo. πŸ˜†

I'm a software developer from Italy.

I've been loving this community for a while now and thanks to the DEV team I now have the opportunity to help out, in an official capacity, remotely and from this side of the Atlantic Ocean.

I have only been here two days and the greatest thing is that the team is exactly like I imagined them to be after years of participating in the community. πŸ’™

I've never worked on a public website that's also open source so I can't wait for the first time I'll be able to break the build "from the inside". 😬

I hope to learn far and wide and I'm currently working on a not so secret feature.

My connect inbox is open πŸ˜€

Somehow I don’t find this surprising, but it’s still exciting. πŸŽ‰

Congrats πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘ I follow you on GitHub. I know pull requests you did. I believe you'll successful like the others.

Thanks for the optimism Ali! We'll all be successful if we work as a community! That's why I'm excited to work on an open source project!

Congrats man! I realized a bit ago that you weren't a part of the core team but I kept seeing your profile pic around!

Congrats on making it official and joining the dev.to team!

Wooo so we might organize a live meetup here in Italy then?
Our offices are always open for communities, especially in the Ruby world!
