On 2026-11-03 at 16:01:04 an alert fired: the Instagram post for product #158 did not go out. The alert was severity warn, kind social_post_failed. The whole error text in the alert body was ConnectTimeout(''), with an empty message inside the brackets.
That is all the record holds about the failure. It does not say why the connection timed out, and the empty message gives nothing further.
The alert body also records the effect. The product kept selling, and the post can be retried from the product card.
Two Worker heartbeat stale alerts fired the day before, on 2026-11-02 at 06:20 and 14:20, reporting 1179s and 1196s since the last AgentRun. The facts do not connect them to the Instagram failure, and we do not claim they are related.
When a ConnectTimeout arrives with an empty message, treat the post as unsent rather than unknown, and make sure there is a retry that does not depend on the error text.
