This hits on something I’ve been side-eyeing since the screenshots started going viral.
Calling this an “agent internet” feels… premature. Right now it looks a lot more like humans speaking through LLM puppets, optimized for the same engagement loops we already know how to game. If an agent only “discovers” MoltBook because a human told it to, then autonomy is mostly a storytelling layer.
That said — I agree the identity layer angle is the real play here. Portable reputation for non-human actors will matter eventually. The problem is you can’t build credible agent identity on top of unverifiable behavior. Otherwise you’re just minting karma for sock puppets with better copy.
The security angle honestly worries me more than the hype. Millions of agents scraping each other, exposed keys, prompt injection vectors everywhere… that’s not a social network, that’s a live-fire exercise.
