Vibe Coding Isn't Replacing Developers—It's Changing How We Build

Just tried vibe coding for a while, and I think the biggest shift isn't that AI writes code—it's that developers can stay focused on solving problems instead of fighting boilerplate.

The key is knowing:

  • What to ask
  • What to verify
  • What to refactor
  • What not to accept

AI can generate code in seconds, but clean architecture, performance, security, and maintainability still come from experience.

The future doesn't belong to developers who avoid AI—it belongs to developers who know how to collaborate with it effectively.

How has vibe coding changed your workflow?

Completely agree. AI is accelerating development, but it doesn't replace engineering judgment. Prompting is only the beginning reviewing, testing, refactoring, and designing scalable architecture still require experienced developers.
