AI is improving the way we create content, and video generation models are more useful now than ever. Goodbye to the days when we need to know how to edit to create video reels or marketing video content on social media. Today, models like Veo 3, Kling Pro, and Pixverse 4.5 let marketers, creators, and even regular users generate cinematic videos with just a few prompts.
Video generation AI models are so expensive to use; currently, Veo 3 costs around $200/month, which is so expensive for a small content creator or a student. So, if you need to test video generation models without breaking the bank, Eachlabs may be helpful. They are affordable to use, and they also have a variety of models to experiment with.
In this article, we will break down the strengths and weaknesses of each model, comparing how realistic and natural their videos, the motions, camera angles, and pricing are to help you decide.
Let’s learn!
An overview of the Veo 3, Kling Pro, and Pixverse 4.5
Veo 3 is the latest upgrade of the Veo 2 model, which already creates realistic 4K videos with advanced camera angles that users can tweak to fit their specific needs, including angles, transitions, and lens effects. Also, this model comes with impressive audio that syncs with the video.
Among the leading models available today, Veo 3, Kling Pro, and Pixverse 4.5 bring something unique to the table, but how do they compare?
The evals below compares Veo 2 to competitors like Kling 2.0, which shows how Veo 2 is a great model compared to Kling 2.0 in terms of resolution and realism.
Now, you can imagine how awesome Veo 3 is.
With Veo 3, it takes the strengths of Veo 2 a step further by introducing an impressive audio generation and more control over camera angles and transitions. If Veo 2 could deliver quality that surpasses Kling Pro, Veo 3 just broke the bar entirely. Kling Pro may not be Veo, but it focuses more on the zoom effects that reflect a sense of storytelling in their videos, but their videos are limited to 1080p resolutions.
If you need to create a video that has an animated vibe, Pixverse 4.5 is your go-to. This model generates animation-style videos that can scale up to 4K resolution. They also feature unique, creative motion effects, perfect for stylized storytelling.
Now that we’ve introduced the strengths of each model, let’s compare them with their video outputs and see which fits your needs.
Video Comparison
As you’ve guessed, this section will be comparing the generated videos from different models. We will be evaluating video quality, video length, the realism of the videos, details of the surroundings, and, lastly, the cost of using each model.
To really compare the capabilities of Veo 3, Kling Pro, and Pixverse 4.5, I used the same prompt across all models:
Cinematic shot of a female doctor in a dark yellow hazmat suit, illuminated by the harsh fluorescent light of a laboratory. The camera slowly zooms in on her face, panning gently to emphasize the worry and anxiety etched across her brow. She is hunched over a lab table, peering intently into a microscope, her gloved hands carefully adjusting the focus. The muted color palette of the scene, dominated by the sickly yellow of the suit and the sterile steel of the lab, underscores the gravity of the situation and the weight of the unknown she is facing. The shallow depth of field focuses on the fear in her eyes, reflecting the immense pressure and responsibility she bears.
This test is carried out within the Eachlabs console platform. Here is how you can recreate yours:
Step 1: Log in to the Eachlab console playground.
Step 2: Click on ‘Models’ and search for the model you want to use. All three models mentioned in this article support text-to-video.
Step 3: Replace the prompt with your prompt (or the prompt in this article) and click Run. This should start generating your video, which will appear on the right side of your screen. Once it has been generated, you can click on 'Download' to save your video.
If you use Veo 3, the audio is generated with the video.
Now that you can generate videos with available models on Eachlabs, let’s compare the models to see which one fits your use case and budget.
Resolution & Clarity
Veo 3 generated an amazing 4K resolution video for 8 seconds, making every detail stand out. From the texture of the hazmat suit to the subtle lighting to the blurry background, and the lifelike emotion on the character’s face, and the included audio that matched the expression of the scene. The output felt like a movie shot with a camera and a human actress. Kling Pro’s video was limited to 1080p resolution for 10 seconds, but it generated a video that had a cinematic feel, camera motion, and great lighting, similar to that of Veo 3, but with lower resolution. Pixverse 4.5 also generated a 4K resolution video for 5 seconds, but it lacked the human-like feel Veo 3 gave. This video leaned towards a cartoonish feel with great motion on the facial area.
I tried Veo3 1st with my prompt and the results was impressive i got 4k video and clarity, check the result:
Had to lower down the quality during YT upload due to different technical reasons :(
Realism & Motion
Veo 3 had better advanced camera controls that had very good framing and depth, which made the movement in the scene feel so natural and human-like. Kling Pro, however, also featured great cinematic motion, including a dramatic zoom effect that enhanced the scene and added emotional depth compared to the other videos. Lastly, Pixverse 4.5 featured amazing animations, including the camera zoom effects, the slight head nudge, and the expressive faces of the characters, which added a creative touch.
I tried Kling 1,6 Pro with the prompt, and you could see how awesome the zoom effect, motions, and the human-like video is. Check the result here:
Lighting & Atmosphere
Veo 3 won this round again because it captured better lab lighting than the other videos. The lighting was by far the most accurate, maintaining realistic highlights around the characters and objects, but Kling 1.6 Pro had better cinematic color grading, which made the scene feel like a sci-fi movie trailer, and also added good attention to detail on the objects. The video generated by this model was by far the most cinematic of all. The Pixverse 4.5 had softer lighting. The atmosphere felt sharper than in the other videos, which also made it feel less natural compared to the others.
Pixverse lighting is on par with that of Veo 3, and it also has great camera angles. I tried Pixverse 4.5 and the results were so impressive, this is the result:
Pricing and Accessibility
Pricing varies across Veo 3, Kling Pro, and Pixverse 4.5. All the video models are available on Eachlabs; Veo 3 costs $0.50 per video, Kling 1.6 Pro costs $0.49 per video, and Pixverse 4.5 costs $0.30 per video.
Thanks to Eachlabs, testing these models has never been more accessible, even for creators on a budget.
If you want to test any of the models mentioned in this article before committing, Eachlabs offers new users $1 to test models; you should check it out.
After comparing the video outputs of each model, it is noticeable that Veo 3 is the best at generating realistic, high-resolution videos, while Kling Pro excels in motions and dramatic zoom effects, and Pixverse 4.5 is best suited for animated videos. Also, the audio generated by the Veo 3 model is a huge bonus if you need an audio alongside your video for a social media post.
Conclusion
Video generation models are changing the video business by giving us the freedom to create short video clips without having fancy equipment, so whether you are a filmmaker, marketer, or a video nerd who wants to experiment with video models, the right choice depends on your use case.
If realistic and high-resolution videos are your priority, then you should use Veo 3 because of the 4K video quality, but if you are okay with lower resolution and want to have better transition and zoom effects, then you should use Kling Pro but if you need an animated video, you should use Pixverse 4.5. The video quality is pretty good, and it’s perfect for animated content.
For the curious minds looking to experiment with Veo 3, Kling Pro, and Pixverse models first hand, you can test them at Eachlabs. You will have the opportunity to view other model variants of Kling AI and Pixverse AI models, and also have the freedom to adjust the AI model before generating the videos.
