Congrats to The Pinata Challenge Winners!

The time is now! We are excited to announce the winners of the The Pinata Challenge.

From virtual museums to NFT minting to time capsule apps, it’s obvious that our participants gave it their all! We received some of the most creative and well executed projects we’ve ever seen in a DEV Challenge. This was an incredibly tough competition, and we hope everyone who participated is feeling proud of what they accomplished.

As always, we can only pick a few winners.

Our Winners

In no particular order, major congratulations to our three winners:

Pinata OG

@nightlyinks built an incredibly polished real-time file experience. This app is immediately useful as a utility for generating and manipulating useful open graph images and demonstrates the power of the Pinata File API incredibly well.

Vidsnap

Well done @fredoist for a top-to-bottom UX which makes excellent use of the underlying technology. The experience is seamless and ties together complex web/device interactions.

Noisy Monster

@milewski demonstrates an impressive use of file storing and fetching. The project is a super creative use of multi-file music generation — or whatever off-the-wall thing a user wants to do with it.

Each winner will receive the following prizes:

  • $1,000 USD
  • 6-Months of DEV++
  • Exclusive DEV Badge
  • A gift from the DEV Shop

All Participants with a valid submission will receive a completion badge on their DEV profile.

Our Sponsor

We want to give the biggest shout out to Pinata for organizing this challenge with us. They have truly mastered the art of making, uploading, and retrieving files a delightful experience. @stevedylandev and team, thank you for collaborating with us and supporting the community. ❤️

What’s next?

More challenges! More challenges! Check out our challenge page to see what’s launching next, and follow the challenge tag so you don’t miss any announcements:
