I got an opportunity to contribute to a side projects with students from my old university this Sunday. Hope this weekend's a productive one.
I've searched for inspiration on career path choices, after 4 years as a Chapter Lead (and counting). I've run into Will Larson's Staff Engineer and An Elegant Puzzle. I started reading the latter, challenging one engineer in my team to read the former.
I expect to motivate each other in reaching the end of the read. Hopefully with some "a-ha" moments on the way.
Oh woah, the dog gif it's like me... Hanging out a bit on the things I need to do right now ๐
Released 3 separate major projects to live ๐

Took a few days to get away and clear my head before bootcamp starts. Battery is recharged and I'm going at a steady pace through the pre coursework.
Learned that horror movies and a cabin in the woods all alone do.not.mix.
Haha!!! Horror movies + a cabin in the woods sounds like such an awesome time to me, but I also totally get why they do.not.mix! ๐ฑ
Makes me think of Knock at the Cabin... I really wanna see that flick!
Two things:
-Managed to use CLI to restore my wi-fi when it 'disappeared' off my network out of thin air.
-Scored 95% on my chapter 10 quiz.
โ I launched my first micro-saas: themindmap.app/
โ I even wrote a blog about it: dev.to/thatman/mindmap-never-forge...
I went for a hike for the first time in a minute this weekend!! Forgot how much I needed it!
I've finally started working on Admin Panel for my quiz app called Quizerach. Decided to write it from scratch using Chakra-UI.
Quiz is a common app that new developers create (at least it's on a various lists of project ideas) but you can't actually find useful open source quiz app.

Genesis of the Name
Quizerach name is a word play on "Kwisatz Haderach" and word Quiz. You pronounce the name similar to the name of the male Bene Gesserit from Frank Herbert novel Dune.
The Kwisatz Haderach possessed a heightened consciousness that allowed him to access future memories and see different possible outcomes, giving him the ability to predict the future and provide answers to complex questions and riddles.
