RootCX was born from a simple observation: AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor made building internal apps trivial. But deploying them? Every app landed as an island: its own database, its own auth, its own deployment headaches. We built RootCX to be the production layer underneath. One server where every internal app and AI agent plugs in, sharing a single database, security model, and audit trail. Open source, self-hostable, no vendor lock-in.
Our stack
Rust and TypeScript. PostgreSQL for the shared database. OIDC for SSO. The platform ships as a single binary or Docker container. Integrations with Slack, Notion, Gmail, Salesforce, GitHub, Stripe, and more. MCP-compatible for extending AI agents.
