Hey folks! I'm back with another installment of underrated posts of last week! Let's check them out and see what the community has been up to.

As a developer, you know there’s a constant need to stay up-to-date with technologies you love, as well as the ones you don’t. You need to keep learning to stay relevant in your industry. Learning is a key component of the experience. Alex shares five learning techniques he finds useful.

3. Lessons Learned About Rewriting Code

Some developers assume that it is easier for the creator to start from the very beginning than to improve something that already exists. Sometimes even the creators have problems understanding their own code. Hüseyin shares insights into rewriting code and what lessons he learned while doing this.

He explains the process very well, telling us how to avoid it, and also warns the user to not cheap out on database backups, which he did. 😜😆

It is always a great pleasure to read about the journey of fellow devs in the community. Daniel describes briefly his journey and progress in the past six months. He writes about the conferences and workshops he attended. He also mentions things that he learned in this time period.

6. How to Make a Digital Marketer Happy

Using digital marketing, you can reach an enormous audience in a way that is both cost-effective and measurable. But before you hire a marketer, there are some things you can learn which will make this arrangement much easier for both of you. Tammy writes about five quick things you should pay attention to that will make a digital marketer's life easier.

7. The Reason to Pursue Web Development

Devon explains why doing free work for experience or exposure is a bad idea and what to do instead. He makes some very smart arguments, and also explains some exceptions to this rule. In the end, the only free work you should be doing is should be for your sake, something that provides you with some value.
