I've been reading DEV articles for years now and have always enjoyed the articles. Finally signed up to claim my Hacktoberfest (something else I've been participating in since the very first year).
Thank you to everyone who supports this great community!
A new python developer in the Slytherin House, learning to freelance and always learning new skill sets relevant to full-stack development and software applications.
Right now I am trying to improve upon my React library skills, which is of course JavaScript. And my favorite library or framework is React. I guess that is what you meant to ask. If you strictly meant "languages," then I am learning JavaScript daily because there is always something to learn, and recently Python as well, and am currently improving upon those two languages despite knowing a lot in them already. Let me know if I answered your questions correctly.
I'm just catching up with people, not interviewing them š .
I've also started react. Btw have you made any projects with JavaScript. If you don't mind sharing.
I just wanna connect with people.
Yes, you can find some of it on my portfolio site, while the others can be found on my GitHub. Some are still private but I am planning to make more items public. I'd suggest ZeroToMastery courses by Andrei Neagoie on Udemy or on zerotomastery.com. They are great courses. yatrik.dev/ github.com/ytrkptl
Thank you for the response but it is very hard to get a job in this field due to the tough competition out there. I have applied to several places, and have been interviewed by a few, have also passed their coding challenges and other steps involved, yet there has not been any luck for me yet. Therefore, I continue to teach math as my primary job, and if I get an opportunity, will surely transition to the tech industry.

Thank you.
Howdy folks. I've been a river wilderness guide for the last couple of decades. Before that I used to "play around" with computers and networking and such. This winter, while stuck at home, I picked up a computer and installed a Linux distribution. Next thing I know I'm using vim and writing Python code. I quickly switched to Go and I've been hooked on coding ever since. Now I want to start making money writing code. I was only introduced to this place a few days ago and I look forward to exploring and contributing and getting to know the folks here. OK be well everyone and remember, smile it might hurt!
I'm a tech writer and educator advocating for code newbies āØ
