The question isn't whether data is being collected. The question is whether any meaningful privacy protection governs what's inferred from it.

Why Children's Data Is More Valuable — And More Dangerous
Children's data has properties that make it exceptionally valuable to AI companies:
Timeline length: A platform that captures a child from age 6 through 18 has 12 years of behavioral data — longer than almost any adult data set.
Developmental markers: Learning patterns at age 8 predict academic outcomes at 18. AI systems can identify cognitive development patterns, learning disabilities, attention profiles, and emotional regulation patterns years before clinical diagnoses.

What Should Exist But Doesn't
A real framework for children's AI privacy would include:
