Howdy partners 🤠
What's everybody learning on this weekend?
Whether you're sharpening your JS skills, making PRs to your OSS repo of choice 😉, sprucing up your portfolio, or writing a new post here on DEV, we'd like to hear about it.
Have a wonderful weekend, learn lots, and but of course remember to step away from the computer and enjoy your New Year, otherwise you might end up like Fry down here! 🥳👇

Yes, I didn't notice that earlier. Thank you so much 😊😊
As far as programming, I'm learning about React (I haven't learned much about it) and a bit about macOS setup (I only use Windows or Ubuntu on my PCs).
As far as life lessons, I'm learning about inclusivity and tolerance. :D
Happy new year to anyone reading this!
If I can make it happen learn the AWS CLI.
You got this, Stefan! Hope you had a nice weekend and made some good progress with your learnings. 🙌
Yeah, that didn't happen. I learned the art of the French Press. Never going back to drip again (at home that is).
The French Press is hard to beat! That's my daily.
All I need is a good grinder and i believe I'll be set.
Yes! The fresh ground stuff makes all the difference.
It's easy to spend a lot on a nice coffee machine (and shoot, there are some good ones) but really French Press + freshly ground beans is easily up there with the best. The nice machines might get you some small gains, but I think having freshly ground stuff is the ticket.
I got a pretty cheap, but decently good electric one I use. I think it's from like Target or something, haha.

I would like to create my own podcast in 2024, if realistic, and i am in the middle of a pretty good training for wannabe podcasters
Nice, Jean-Michel! That's an excellent 2024 goal. 🙌
Cool! On what topic?
My podcast would be for programmers and about programming careers, specifically all of it but the programming part.
The format would be circa 45 minutes long interviews, in french, every two weeks.
That's an early plan so things can change, i don't even have a name yet.
Currently researching how to do a dropdown menu
How to write a resume!
Right on! That's a good one, Monty.
This post is a bit older, but is still evergreen and might have some good pointers for ya:

I'm studying for AZ900 and working on wireframes this weekend. :)
GraphQL is my focus for the weekend. Also researching to see if there's any cases where people have conjoined a SQL and NoSQL database because I'm curious about what such a bastardization would look like, as well as what the use-cases would be.
