What are you learning about this weekend? 🧠

Hey y'all! 👋

Hope you're all enjoying your weekends. 🙌

Whether you're sharpening your JS skills, making PRs to your OSS repo of choice 😉, sprucing up your portfolio, or writing a new post here on DEV, we'd like to hear about it.

Learn your way! Whether ya like to watch videos, listen to podcasts, participate in challenges, or read posts right here on DEV, hope you're learning goes well.

The intro to Reading Rainbow. We see the logo for Reading Rainbow — it's a book that is opened up with a rainbow arcing out of it and transforming to the words "Reading Rainbow"... the logo floats in the clouds and sparkles surround it.

I'm studying Python and I'm thinking about trying to start my studies in Fast API. Also, I'm writing some more posts about Python (in portuguese) to share my learnings with the community.

That's a journey you won't regret: are you learning on Kaggle Learn ?

I'm sure I won't, Python is amazing, right? I'm in love with it! Actually I'm learning Fast API from a friends' course (in portuguese): Fast API from Zero. He creates content about Python here in Brazil for the community. It's been awesome so far.

Starting with Python (on CodeCademy and LaunchSchool). I'm used to Kotlin so this is a bit (a lot) different, but I'm enjoying it :D

I'm learning more about Elixir and writing unit tests in it. With my help I have a HuggingFace Chat Assistant that is instructed to help with Elixir in a concise manner.

Chat Assistants from HuggingFace is a new (and free) feature. We can choose which opensource ML model it should be based on. I made use of a Llama Code instructor model.
