In 2023 I want to help developers to find jobs that match better what they want to do with their careers. This is something I would have needed when I was young so I was looking forward to do it next year.
Or at least I thought that would wait for 2023. But I stumbled upon a handful of fine people who wanted to switch jobs. I had a cafΓ© (virtual or with caffeine) with them and we talked things through, I had fun doing that and they found it useful. Going like this from 0 to 1 felt great.
My win is vacation starts today! Looking forward to some downtime to recharge.
Created 9 new videos for YouTube and my online course. Reviewed the final edit for my book. This makes it feel very real.
Submitted 3rd chapter for the new book. It was a long and hard one...
Wrote a nicely viral LinkedIn post.
Started the work on two new free courses in my YouTube channel. One for Java beginners and one for modern Java programming.
That's awesome! Well done!
I published an article about the concepts behind modern frameworks that was my best-received article on here to date.
Also, I am currently recovering from a bad case of flu. Take that, influenza! I kicked your RNA right out of my system!
I got 8 week streak badge! π
Finished a deep reinforcement learning nanodegree
I also reimagined an old machine on Linux Mint 21.1 because Udacity wasn't maintaining the course properly on Windows
I also got offered my first contract writing opportunity on data science topics
Finally, I started thinking about educational gamedev opportunities in the new year
Finally finished my blogging automation tooling, so I can publish to my personal site and it automatically uploads to DEV/Medium/Hashnode as well, with keywords and metadata.
DEV and Medium were ok, but damn why does Hashnode API have to use GraphQL π₯²
Exercised every day!
I released the first Release Candidate of wj-config, version 2.0.0-rc.0. It is readily available for download from NPM and the repository has an updated example of use in React. Currently working on upgrading the examples for NodeJS.
I made my first-ever landing page (which I'm planning to blog about tonight!) making it the first front-end project I've done (at least one that I actually finished π ).
Congrats π
Used firebase to deploy a ReactJS app after I tried using git to do so.
Learnt how to simplify react code with conditionals and loops.
Learnt a lot of react by working on projects and not reading the many coding books I had downloaded. This was my biggest win this week.
Not many but I enjoyed them
I have 3 wins this week:
β’ Receiving a free code for a Project Management Institute course which the personal development units can go towards renewing my Project Management Professional certification
β’ Microsoft US Partner doing a courtesy exam voucher processing because I forgot to complete the Cloud Fundamentals training survey
β’ Receiving my Azure Cloud Week for Partners free exam voucher
Finally deploying a small app I made in ReactJS using Firebase.

Nice
Now you can work on the responsiveness π
I spent the whole past week fighting the Omicron virus. Fortunately, till now the fever has been gone and I have almost recovered. Taking this opportunity, I've got enough rest and my body is prepared for the rebooted life for the next week.
Started writing for superteam.fun/
Completed a small UX/UI design assessment for an internship at a health company :)
