Your bank app shows one number that mixes:
- Last month's tax reserve you forgot you moved
- This week's client deposit
- Next week's software renewal
- A refund you already mentally spent

- Log each payment and expense when it clears.
- Pick the month you want to review.
- Read net profit — that is the number for rate math and tax set-aside.
