We've been on the same wavelength in these discuss posts πŸ˜„

In my post on Monday, I wrote Fueling Innovation and Collaborative Storytelling about SciFi devices that have inspired real life things. The lightsaber I mentioned seems super cool.

Transportation a la StarTrek. This is for the same reason why I choose Teleportation as one super power I would choose.
It has the potential to lower or at least drastically lessen the problem of logistics that I feel is a huge part of our global supply chain issues that are a root cause of key resource scarcity. Key resources being water, food, medicine and infrastructure.
If, we can get medicine from where it is plentiful to where it is scarce at low cost, that helps. *If we can keep the profiteering to a minimum.

Teleportation for sure! Time travel is an enticing idea too, but I bet I'll end up time traveling back or to the future all the time forever wishing to remain there. With teleportation I get to see and meet people from all around the world whenever I want to.

Tech that increases empathy and human connection. The world could use more of that.

A robot like Timmis from The Orville; an AI that can feel emotions.
It would be really interesting to see how that plays out IRL v. in the show.

A time traveler. Definitely would like to change a few things in the past.
