Do this course and become a Data Scientist in 40 hours!!!

πŸ˜‚ How long What does it really take?

Hahaha. Just one 'small' Udemy course πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

That having super cool ai/ml features will make your product more useful/valuable/powerful than building something your users actually need to solve a real problem.

Ahmen, thats like strapping a big engine in a racecar with bad suspension. It's cool, but not very effective without the whole package.

Thinking one can skip algorithms and go-ahead to start building models

Whare are some things one should understand before building models??

Data science means training machine learning algorithms.

What are some things that it means instead?

SQL is a major portion of data retrieval, Data retrieval, Data cleansing and Data analysis and Visualisation are some of the major parts of Data science

By the time you have done all of that generally you start seeing some benefit, and another project has become higher priority.

I think there’s a misconception that it’s sort of a magic bullet for your career or a company’s business needs or whatever.

Deep.

Though I do think that that it has allowed a large number of people into the SWE field. That's kind of a magic bullet.

Really though there is no magic bullet it all takes hard work!

Statistics done by people who don't understand statistics

ah i know this one you can analyze bitcoin data and make you rich in a second by day trading

You need to have a PhD and ideally a MBA to do data science work.
