Also working on a nice tool to create amazing stats for github it works but I just need to do the caching system.
I had a lot of fun doing my first live coding pairing session with community member @sophia_wyl . For those interested in future live coding pairings read below.

TGIF folks!
Woot!
Converted a twitter discussion into a blog article which has gone viral with over 2k views. It's crazy because I really did not expect that from this article :-)
Link to the article - dev.to/skaytech/why-do-you-want-to...
In fact, I did see that feature on the main feed section too. I'm curious on the algorithm of how Dev.to promotes certain articles to the feed section. Any information on that would be gladly appreciated.
My heartfelt thanks to the Dev community for providing such a wonderful platform for blogging. I've never enjoyed writing more :-)
I'm SUCH a fan of when DEV members use discussion posts as a jumping off point for full articles. It kind of sums up what DEV is all about to me — turning collective opinions/thoughts/debate into useful evergreen content. Way to go and thanks for being PART of this community!
My overall post views on #DEVCommunity crossed 50k this week 🎊🎉
This community has given lots of love and support and I hope to continue my journey with more posts.

My wife finished her final round of surgery (3) for her gallbladder removal. She has been fighting strong for nearly 2 months, It's great to see her finally getting back on her feet.
I also got the GitHub Arctic Code Vault Contributor badge! It's such an honor to be a part of this history.
I'm so glad your wife is back on her feet, Waylon. My former co-worker/current friend had that surgery and she said the process was really excruciating. Hope you both have some fun this weekend!
I learned how to use Netlify for deploying some of my projects and learned how to use Eleventy in a basic fashion. That concluded with making this template to contribute to and OSS project.
So now I'm a happy camper 😄
I very recently started writing here, and my third post did a lot better than I thought. My first post got about 40 views, my second was slightly less at 33. Then I posted my third post and went to bed, I woke up to a couple hundred, and it didn't stop, almost at 2k views now😲
yahoooo!
I have published my very first freeCodeCamp article titled "The Docker Handbook". It's an huge article with enough content to take someone from 0 to 1 in Docker.
Also, I've just redesigned my farhan.info with TailwindCSS. It is a big deal to me as I don't consider myself as that much of a front-end guy.
Felt a lot better physically this week instead of last week! No to getting sick 🙅♀️
My github project github-readme-stats hit 1k stars within 8days :D

Sure will do it!
That is a super cool tool!
Because it deserves this♥️♥️. Superb work
The animations here are sooo cool!
I definitely want to find a way to incorporate some svg animation after seeing yours.
SVG Animations are super cool thing to use in any project. You can animate cool stuffs within
10KB
. I am using Greensock (GSAP) here for the same.I recently published a series of animations using gsap. Check it out.

So far, my personal website Tech Up Your Life this month has already beaten my previous record for most monthly pageviews. That was a pretty nice win. I also created a Raspberry Pi podcasting station which I used to record and edit my latest podcast episode and that was quite fun and functional.
Dang, this is so cool
Cheers!!
That Raspberry Pi podcasting station looks so rad! 🔥
It's pretty sweet! No idea why I hadn't thought of it before. I'm excited for being able to use it on the go with a power bank once social distancing is over.
Last Wednesday I picked up my degree in Software Engineering after 6 years of struggle and hard work. 🥳🥳🥳
big big big congrats to you!
Contratulations!!!
My last post passed 10k views this week, which is so far beyond my wildest expectations it's honestly unbelievable 😯
That plus I baked a pretty awesome banana bread 😂
It's my birthday this weekend! Not a win yet, but we're close enough right? 🥳
You most certainly have had a win: another week of community moderation excellence/support awesomeness at DEV! Happy birthday, Michael!

I've built my first portfolio site using just Angular !
I released it to public last week and I'm so excited to build more features into it. You can check out here

A lot of great things happened to me this week :)
I watched DEVdiscuss episodes and shared it on twitter and got retweeted by @thepracticaldev
Also received a Dev shop coupon for DevDiscuss Sticker Pack 🥰
Set a simple GitHub Profile README where I can showcase all of my current works in a bunch of shields.
Some excellent wins in here — good work, everyone!
After what feels like an age (hint: it has been an age in the Internet time), I've got an actual website up and running, as an adjunct to the application.
The plan had been to push forward with the public sharing in the application and use that to publish pages to build a website. But the simple fact is it would foolish to think I could replicate a fraction of what WordPress does in a few weeks or months…
Lesson learned. Progress made.

Figuring out why it was that, even though I was using a common docker file to do it, my resultant Red Hat images were double the size of my CentOS images. And, in the end, not only did I reduce the size of my Red Hat image, I further reduced the size of my CentOS image.
...Was doing the above because, while the project I'm on refuses to enable the CI features of their internal git-service, they don't ban me from using local containers to do manual versions of the kinds CI activities I've become used to on other projects.
I deployed my online portfolio to live yesterday 😀😀😀 lorna.dev Super proud!! I used Angular 9 and Firebase. My motivation has only gotten x1000 🚀✅✅ Now onto the next project!!
I got to a dozen Go tutorial videos created so far.
Go check out the playlist here, I appreciate any and all feedback.
Publishished my first post here and two other posts
I was nominated as a Ruby on Rails Thinker of the Year on Hackernoon's Noonies 2020.
Amazing!!!
I submitted the last assignment for my MSc in Data Science, finally completing a (psychologically) looooong semester. Now only the dissertation remains! 😁
Big congrats!!
On Monday, I accepted an offer for my first job in tech! 😱
I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, to be honest!
Convinced a coworker to write a small script in plain js instead of importing jQuery.
I can finally use my work machine again. I had to change the OS from Manjaro to Debian but everything is working well so far (except neovim, I miss the floating windows).
Completed a coding challenge while being recorded, which is a BIG win for this introvert.
Next week i'm starting a job that doesn't require me to know JavaScript to do design work. This is important because I will probably be old enough to retire before I learn JavaScript.

The combined effects of Thursday (finishing a major UI overhaul 100%) and Friday (fixing all critical and important bugs) for my first ever large-scale web app felt SUPER satisfying!
Created a api from legacy code base which allowed me to know a bit of ruby.
I had Friday off and no one contacted me over a bug, task, etc.
Got the Artic Vault Contributor Tag on GitHub , does that count ? 🙈🙈
I did a presentation at a conference twice this week and only had one (non-critical) glitch caused by the Demo Gods. 😌
I started posting in dev.to about Quarkus and Java to new developers who don't know English yet.
