What you need
- A Claude account with Connector access
- The Higgsfield MCP server link
- A modern web browser and stable internet
Step 1: Copy the Higgsfield MCP link
First, grab the URL that lets Claude talk to Higgsfield. This link acts like a bridge so you won’t have to switch apps.
Keep this tab open or copy it to your clipboard so it’s ready for the next steps.
## Step 2: Open Claude’s Connector settings
Now jump into Claude and add a new connector. This is where the magic happens.
1. Log in to your Claude workspace in your browser.
2. Click on **Customize** in the sidebar.
3. Select **Connectors** from the options.
4. Hit the **+** button to add something new.
5. Click on:
```Add Custom Connector```
You’ll see fields to name the connector and paste your URL.
## Step 3: Name and configure your connector
This step ties everything together by telling Claude what to call your new link.
1. In the **Name** field, enter:
```Higgsfield```
2. In the **URL** field, paste the MCP link you copied earlier:
```https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp```
3. Save or confirm the connector. Claude will validate the link and show a green check if it’s working.
Congratulations – you’ve just added Higgsfield as a custom connector inside Claude!
## Using your new Higgsfield connector
With the connector in place, you can now ask Claude to generate all sorts of visual content without ever leaving the chat. Here’s how to put it to work:
1. **Upload or reference** an image. For example, drag in a product photo.
2. Type a request like:
- “Create 50 UGC ads for this photo in Instagram carousel format.”
- “Generate a brand kit with colors, fonts, and logo variations.”
- “Produce five 15-second video ads highlighting product features.”
Claude will route your request to Higgsfield behind the scenes, then return polished visuals right in your chat. You can download or review them just like any other response.
### Example prompt
Try this in your Claude chat after setup:
> “Use the Higgsfield connector to make 30 product shots on white background, each with a different angle.”
Within seconds, you’ll have a gallery of images ready for social posts, ads, or your website.
## Common mistakes
1. Forgetting to paste the link exactly as:
```https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp```
Even small typos will break the connection.
2. Skipping the green check validation in Claude’s Connectors tab.
Always wait to see it confirm the link.
3. Naming the connector something other than “Higgsfield.”
If the name is different, your prompts might not call the right tool.
4. Using outdated browser versions.
Make sure you’re on a modern Chrome, Edge, or Firefox release.
5. Requesting visuals before uploading or referencing an image.
Always provide a base image or clear context.
