Who is hiring? (As of February 2019)

This is our monthly thread where community members share openings at their companies.

Here a few ground rules:

  • Please only post if you are personally part of the hiring company (no recruiting firms)
  • Please provide brief background on what your company does
  • Only one post per company (you can list multiple openings in the post)

Consider using this template:

Company Name | Job Title | Location | Remote or Onsite | (optional) Salary Range | Sponsor visa?

About the company — background, size, etc (1-3 sentences)

About the role(s) — languages, requirements, etc (1-3 sentences)

Do you sponsor visas?

How to Apply — email or application link

We also wanted to share some quick careers-related notes from our fantastic Sustaining Sponsors.

We are seeking 2 developers (junior, intermediate) to assist in building the platform. Interviews will be conducted over Google Hangouts!

Being an entirely remote company, we have relaxed hours, educational budgets, and paid time off. We use Slack, Gitlab, Jira and Confluence.

What we're looking for:

  • determined individual
  • loves to learn
  • knows Node, Javascript (and willing to learn Typescript), and optionally Golang
  • puts family first

Lessonly | Software Engineer | Indianapolis, IN | Onsite

About Us

We are a tight-knit group with diverse backgrounds who value our culture. Individually, we strive to be humble, hungry, and people-smart. As a team we put learners first, we challenge ourselves, we do what is right, we share before we are ready, we have difficult conversations, we critique in love, and we make time for life. These aren’t just slogans we put on the wall…we love and live by our culture.

About You

You are a hungry engineer who is looking to jump on a path of continuous learning, continuous improvement, and a team that values impacting real people in a real way… look no further, you may be a llama and just don’t know it yet.

About the role

You will be a vital member of the technical services squad and will require full stack versatility. We want to enable those on our team to pursue their passions. We realize that some people love query optimization and API design as much as they love CSS and UI component structures. You will have your hands in a little of everything—from a little UI, all the way to API development. This is a partially customer-facing role that will be critical to the success of our customers.
