The HTTP Archive staff is looking for contributors for the 2022 edition of the Web Almanac. Chrome devs share more Insider info in a new series on their blog. DuckDuckGo enters the desktop browser market with a Beta version for Mac users. And the main release of this week is TypeScript 4.7 Beta.

Making the Web Almanac is a long and laborious task. That's why the HTTPArchive already started looking for contributors to work on the 2022 edition. If this is something that interests you, head over to the GitHub page linked below.

The Chrome team announced a new series on their blog - the Chrome Dev Insider. This is their pledge for more transparency on how things are done behind the scene.

DuckDuckGo

DuckDuckGo has decided to enter the browser market. They just announced a beta version of their browsing app for Mac, with a Windows version still in development.
