Day 27 of 100DaysOfCode

I have taken a few days off. Had to do renovation, school work and we also had a little accident regarding our puppy and a bee. Everything is fine now and I'm getting back to work on this challenge!

I started off quite easily, did some FCC challenges, and watched the rest of a portfolio website tutorial.

What I did today:

1. Started the object-oriented programming challenges at FCC

https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/javascript-algorithms-and-data-structures/object-oriented-programming/

What I learned from it:

  • Introduction to OOP in JS
  • this keyword
  • What are constructor functions

2. Watched the rest of the portfolio tutorial on Scrimba

https://scrimba.com/learn/portfolio

What I learned from it:

  • Making a website more responsive
  • Using grid
  • Working with CSS custom properties

Time spent learning:

Task 'FCC'. Elapsed time: 0 h 33 min 32 s
Task 'Portfolio_Scrimba'. Elapsed time: 0 h 51 min 54 s

Total time: 1 h 25 min 26 s

Time spent is tracked by my TaskTimer script and the WakaTime app.

Links and videos

I found this great tutorial about python comprehensions by Corey Schafer. Check it out!

Outro

I decided to leave out the repeated parts of my writings. I'll probably make a post with all of the resources I've used and will be updating it when I find other good ones. That way these posts don't have as much repetition.

See you all tomorrow!
