Running through May 11, the Amazon Q Developer "Quack The Code" Challenge is all about enhancing your coding experience with AI. You're invited to leverage Amazon Q Developer across three distinct prompts for a chance to win, showcase your creativity, and add a new project to your portfolio!

Crushing the Command Line

Build an automation with Amazon Q Developer CLI that makes your work easier, faster, or better. Whether it's creating scripts that help you automate everyday tasks or discovering how to be more effective using the command line, we want to see how you crush it on the command line.

Some ideas to inspire you:

Automation tools that enhance your development workflow
Scripts that tackle tasks you thought were too complex or time-consuming to automate
Tools that assist with code analysis or refactoring

Build something fun with Amazon Q Developer! Games, media apps, or anything that entertains and delights users. If you're interested in retro computing, maybe create a cool demo reminiscent of the 90s 8/16bit demo scene. We want to see how you can use Amazon Q Developer to create code that's truly entertaining!

Some ideas to get your creative juices flowing:

Judging Criteria & Prizes

Submissions will be judged using the following criteria:

Utilization of Amazon Q Developer
Educational Value (clear documentation, best practices shared, lessons learned, etc)
Use Case (creativity, originality, impact)
Writing Quality (originality, clarity)

We'll select a winner for each prompt to receive:

$1,000 USD
DEV++ Membership
Exclusive DEV Badge

All Participants with a valid submission will receive a completion badge on their DEV profile.

In order to participate, you will need to publish a post using the submission template associated with each prompt.
