Rather than working to expert level in a single area, I’m continuing to make progress in each at the same time. I would say I have a fervor for data and databases, more of a knack for front end and user experience, with most experience in backend engineering, core logic, and computational operations.
projects and hacks
Here on Dev.to I am simply putting myself out there through what I'm working on and how I'm progressing in my personal development. I hope to maintain a relatively opinion-free space and limit sensational statements as attention-grabbers. I'm tinkering with my portfolio site between larger projects and solo-learning with more of a focus on frontend code. I'm otherwise working on my Drag Race API or developing my existing tech stack through endless tutorials and smaller creations of my own.
Please send any and all technical tips you think I might find useful! If you're in NYC I'm always up for meeting at networking and meet-up events. I'm always looking out for potential accountability partners to aggressively help each other achieve our goals. I'd love to get a Brooklyn/NYC queer-focused project group going as well. I'm also obsessed with space exploration, evolution of life, and ancient history. Last but not least- I'm looking for work as a software engineer or project manager!
