Weekly 0050

Monday

I started the morning finalizing the table of contents for a new course about HTML5 and CSS3.
I tried to use ChatGPT for speeding up the creation of the TOC and it worked very well.

After that I joined “This is Learning” organization on dev.to.
I would like to contribute with some articles from my blog and at the same time I would like to increase the traffic on my blog as well.

In the morning I had a call with Elio Struyf (the creator of Front Matter) because I would like to become a contributor of the project.
Let’s see if I will find a way to contribute on it.

After that I tried to solve a bug on Azure Function and Swagger. I figured out that a third party library I use in the project doesn’t work with Azure Function V4 and .NET 6.
I think I will create a clone of the project to fix it.
The original project is abandonded since a while and the author wrote a message in the Discussion board to told that to the other maintainers.

In the afternoon I had a meeting with Auth0 Ambassadors and Auth0 Developer Advocates team.
We discussed about the .NET content creations activities.

Tuesday

I had a meeting about the Azure Function API project in the morning because I had some doubts about some logics.
After that, I worked on it and I finalized a lot of stuff.
A productive day.

Wednesday

In the morning I worked on the Azure Function API project.
Nothing special to share about it.
Just writing code for an API.

The most important thing is I decided to jump in in an Hackathong organized by Microsoft.
The hackathon is about developing a solution with .NET and Microsoft Graph.

I started to blog a series to tell my journey.
This is the first post about the Hackathon.

Thursday

In the morning I had a meeting about Brandplane and the on boarding flow for the users.
It was great even I have to rewrite a lot of code and business logic in the application.
I also worked in the Azure Function API project after that call.

In the afternoon I officially joined TomorrowDevs as Mentor.
TomorrowDevs

TomorrowDevs is a learning platform (in italian) and since a few weeks, a mentorship program has been added.
You can find all my sessions I can deliver at this link: https://www.tomorrowdevs.com/mentor/emanuele-bartolesi/

In the evening I posted the second part of my hackathon journey.

Friday

In the morning I had a meeting with all organizers of CollabDay Italy 2023.
We onboarded the first bunch of speakers and we sent out the invitation to them.

At lunch I had a meeting for Branplane with a potential customer.

In the afternoon I worked on the Azure Function API project.
