I've put together a small Python project called the Pygame ModernGL Basic 3D Triangle Starter. It provides a minimal, runnable example that combines Pygame with ModernGL.
The goal is to show how you can set up a Pygame window and initialize a ModernGL context within it. From there, it demonstrates rendering a single, colored 3D triangle. This involves setting up basic GLSL shaders (vertex and fragment) and defining a vertex buffer to hold the triangle's geometry.
This starter is intended for developers who are familiar with Pygame and want to explore adding 3D graphics capabilities to their projects using ModernGL. It's a foundational piece, not a full engine, but it should give you a clear, working starting point to build upon.
