Lap Legends is a new co-op adventure app designed for parents and children (or older and younger siblings) to play together on a single tablet. It features a true split-screen design with distinct roles.
The 'Little Legend' zone is for younger players (ages 3-10), where they tap to make a dragon flap and glide, collecting stars and avoiding obstacles. The 'Guide' zone, for the parent or older sibling, provides a minimap, a Shield button for rescues, and a Hint button.
Gameplay emphasizes teamwork, with roles auto-scaling based on the players (e.g., 'Grown-up + Kid' or 'Sibling + Sibling'). The game is offline-first, requires no login for children, and is COPPA-safe with zero data collection and no ads.
Installation as a Progressive Web App (PWA) allows for full offline functionality. The free demo includes the Enchanted Forest world. The app features a new 'Rainbow Quest' visual style with bright colors and rounded shapes, using Fredoka and Nunito fonts. Purchases include the Lap Legends Pass ($59.88/yr) for all worlds and creatures, or individual world packs ($14.99 each). A parental gate protects access to the store.
