What Kintsugi is

Kintsugi is a blended‑family step‑couple operating system aimed at adults aged 30‑65+. It targets the highest‑risk marriage type—those with stepchildren, where 60‑70% of marriages fail—and provides tools that existing services like OurFamilyWizard do not cover.

Core features

  • Daily Emotional Temperature check‑in – two vessels fill with gold and reveal when both adults tap.
  • Weekly Couple Check‑in – a reciprocal reveal of each partner’s status.
  • Boundary & Discipline Workshop – compiles a living Household Charter that both adults sign and re‑sign as it evolves.
  • Finance Alignment canvas – a yours/mine/ours view with AI model guidance.
  • Co‑parenting Communication Buffer – rewrites a hot message into neutral BIFF‑style text before it reaches the ex.

The UI uses a ‘Golden Repair’ aesthetic: warm‑ivory crackle background, deep pottery‑indigo cards crossed by a single gold vein, Cormorant Garamond serif over Inter, and a gold FAB that expands into a radial menu (no tab bar). All reveals and streaks are server‑authoritative. The suite contains 32 apps.

Pricing

A single annual subscription of $99 covers the entire household. After a 7‑day preview, a hard paywall applies.
