HomeCraft allows users to create detailed project threads. Each thread can include photos, notes, materials used, hours spent, and associated costs. This structure is intended to provide a comprehensive record of each project.
The app also features a seasonal maintenance checklist. This checklist is designed to help users keep up with routine tasks like changing HVAC filters or cleaning gutters, by tracking completion streaks. For Plus users, an AI-generated calendar provides maintenance suggestions based on home type, climate, and system ages.
A home-value dashboard is included to show equity and frame project expenditures against potential return on investment. AI capabilities assist with logging expenses from receipts, estimating project costs and materials, and summarizing longer project threads for community sharing.
HomeCraft offers a free tier that includes one active project, three reminders, basic expense tracking, and read-only access to the community workshop. A paid tier, HomeCraft Plus, provides unlimited projects, the full AI calendar, a budget dashboard, posting abilities, and data export.
