We've shipped Bright Lab, a weekly science curriculum designed for children aged 4-10 (grades K-5). Each episode offers a roughly 10-minute interactive story-lesson where diverse kid scientists tackle a problem requiring scientific principles. Children participate by predicting and answering questions, with on-device voice-over available for pre-readers.
Following the story, each episode concludes with a hands-on experiment using common household items, such as a baking-soda volcano or a cloud in a jar. After completing the experiment off-screen, children can use the device camera for instant, fun feedback. This analysis is performed entirely on-device, with photos never uploaded unless a parent opts into the Lab Journal.
Content is aligned with NGSS standards for K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 grade bands. A parent dashboard details covered standards, provides AI weekly Lab Reports, suggests AI extension experiments, and offers AI journal captions. Children earn badges by discipline, like Chemistry Explorer or Physics Whiz.
Bright Lab is COPPA-clean by design. Children do not have accounts or provide information. Parents manage accounts behind a parental gate, adding child profiles with only a nickname and grade. Play is local-first and fully offline after installation.
Pricing includes a free trial with 3 sample episodes. Solo subscriptions are $59.88/year for one child, and Family subscriptions are $99/year for up to four siblings, billed via PayPal. Physical experiment kits are planned for the future.
