Happy new week, everyone!

I'm back to coding again after taking a break for three days because of COVID-19 vaccine booster side effects. I think I did fairly plenty considering I just recently recovered. Not a bad way to start the week, I'd say.

Anyway, let's move on to my daily report!

The Past 3 Days

I didn't really get to code as I was resting while being sick.

Today

Next.js

  • utilized react-markdown npm package to render markdown as JSX safely (gives protection to cross-site-scripting/XSS, unlike dangerouslySetInnerHTML).
  • continued going through Next.js & React by Maximilian Schwarzmüller.

SQL

  • more practice with nested SELECTs, correlated subqueries and aggregate functions, such as SUM and COUNT.
  • continued to go through SQLZoo's SQL Tutorial.

Scrum

  • I couldn't do much related to Scrum for today.

Thank you for reading! Have a good day!

I really like your post format. I tried 100 days of code once but it didn't go great. On a day that I didn't accomplish anything tangible I'd struggle to make an update post and I eventually stopped.
The Today, yesterday, 'things I struggled with' & general scrum additions make a lot of sense and maybe I'll pick it up once again in a similar format

Thank you! I get how you feel, after I broke my streak of 51 days, it just became a hassle to keep up with, especially when I get interruptions like holidays and getting sick.

I'm just hoping to finish this challenge (so close lol) to be honest, so I can move on to other things.

The Scrum format was just help to myself be more familiar with the concepts, to help me learn about the framework.

I feel like 100daysofcode is more beneficial to beginners who struggle to maintain consistency and direction. If you're already someone who codes every day, blogging about it just feels like extra 30 minutes - 1 hour of busywork.

Just a few more blogs and you'll finish the challenge.
You can do it!.
I'll be able to do it too, slowly but surely.
