Today, I'm releasing the Scalable Product Line Namer.
This tool generates a sequence of product names. It's built to help with the common challenge of naming product line extensions in a consistent way.
The core functionality involves two naming conventions:
- For smaller product counts, it uses familiar numerical prefixes. Examples include Duo, Trio, and Quartet. This helps maintain a recognizable pattern for initial offerings.
- As the product line grows, the tool transitions to numerical suffixes for higher numbers. This allows for scalability without running out of prefix options.
The intent behind this tool is to provide a straightforward way to draft names for multiple product variants or versions. It can be useful for builders and small businesses looking to quickly establish a naming convention for their offerings without extensive manual brainstorming.
It's a small utility aimed at solving a specific naming problem.
